Position & Presentation Scan
At Lumina Clinic, we offer a 2D Growth & Presentation Scan between 22 and 40 weeks for parents who want reassurance about their baby’s development during the second half of pregnancy. This focused 5–10 minute scan provides key information about your baby’s wellbeing, including:
What it does
Identifies the baby’s presentation (head-down, breech, or transverse)
Assesses the baby’s placement and position (which way the baby is facing)
Monitors changes in baby’s position as pregnancy progresses
Supports delivery planning and ongoing maternity care

To ensure clear imaging, a full bladder is required for this scan. Please begin drinking fluids 30–45 minutes before your appointment and avoid using the bathroom during this time.
